The rooms were fresh and tidy with modern amenities like a shower and heated floors, the bed was comfortable, and the location was superb in the village center.

The location of the hotel is very central, close to Banbury, Oxford, Bicester, and the surrounding area. the breakfast was excellent, especially the bread for toasting and the runny eggs. - the majority of the staff were incredibly nice and very pleasant.

Close to the Silverstone track which is why we were there. Decent, if basic room.

Only five channels on the T.V. Very expensive - not worth £400 for two nights.

Waking up to a delicious hot breakfast with perfectly cooked runny eggs and crispy toast 🍳🍞 was a real highlight. It was a bonus that this place is surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it an amazing setting to be in. Plus, having a market and shops within easy reach added to the overall appeal.

A great hotel in a charming village, close to all necessary transport links but with a complete feeling of rest & relaxation. Excellent, quiet and well equipped room in a private courtyard setting made for a perfect night's sleep after a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant, and a couple of pints chatting with the very friendly staff - and with such a great rate, this place is a real winner.

Decent size unit with bath. The breakfast at 9.25. Location adjacent to the market square which has 2 other pubs, the pub and the cotswolds and Oxfordshire.

    The Menu

Dim lighting in room, no decent mirror in room to apply make up. (doing it in a steamy bathroom is not ideal), Broken window lock, beautiful old bed but rubbish mattress. Bricks as doorstops!!! Lethal in a dimly lit room with barefeet!

Excellent value for money for Oxfordshire .The quality of our evening meal was as good as we have experienced in England.

No - this hotel offers everything that you need for a reasonably-priced shoirt break.
