Close to the Silverstone track which is why we were there. Decent, if basic room.
Only five channels on the T.V. Very expensive - not worth £400 for two nights.

Waking up to a delicious hot breakfast with perfectly cooked runny eggs and crispy toast 🍳🍞 was a real highlight. It was a bonus that this place is surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it an amazing setting to be in. Plus, having a market and shops within easy reach added to the overall appeal.

A great hotel in a charming village, close to all necessary transport links but with a complete feeling of rest & relaxation. Excellent, quiet and well equipped room in a private courtyard setting made for a perfect night's sleep after a very nice dinner in the hotel restaurant, and a couple of pints chatting with the very friendly staff - and with such a great rate, this place is a real winner.

The Menu
Dim lighting in room, no decent mirror in room to apply make up. (doing it in a steamy bathroom is not ideal), Broken window lock, beautiful old bed but rubbish mattress. Bricks as doorstops!!! Lethal in a dimly lit room with barefeet!

Excellent value for money for Oxfordshire .The quality of our evening meal was as good as we have experienced in England.
